Kansai Design Company, Ltd. (KDC) was established to strengthen the design capacity of Hitachi Zosen Corporation in the fields of ships and offshore structures. After that, since the depression of shipbuilding around 1985, KDC has strived to develop its unique technical skills and to diversify into the new fields, utilizing the skills which had been accumulated until then.
As a result, we have become an overall engineering company which can meet the needs of customers in the era of increasing sophistication, informatization in recent years, and thanks to all of you, we were able to celebrate 40th anniversary of our founding in 2019.
KDC is capable of handling all the way from designing of civil engineering and architectural structures to handling feasibility study, basic planning and creation of manufacture drawing for the fields of steel structures, plants, mechanical equipment and ships/offshore structures. Furthermore, KDC can cover the overall process of manufacturing of machinery and equipment such as industrial machinery and automation machine related to nuclear power plants.
In addition, KDC provides businesses that satisfy the needs in nowadays such as those related to energy, environment and nanotechnology. In order to adapt to social changes and technological innovations , we aim to continue developing as an overall engineering company which can serve customers with flexible ideas and technical skills we have acquired in various fields.
